- Baked Camembert with Honey and Pecans
- This is an appetizer that is rich and yummy and is loved by all. It is great for the holidays or a party where you want to put out a quality crowd pleaser.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place camembert in shallow baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together chopped pecans, brown sugar, nutmeg and 2 tablespoons of the honey until it forms a thick, sticky paste. Spoon mixture over cheese and spread evenly. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until pecans and the sugar begin to caramelize. Let sit 3 - 5 minutes before serving. Pour the remaining honey over the top and Serve with apples, pears and crackers. Put a small ramekin of your favorite jalapeno raspberry jam beside it for the more adventurous dippers…it makes wonderful turn into heavenly.
